We stayed two nights for a large sports tournament for kids. Many 13 and under children from many different areas stayed here at the same time and the staff was very courteous. The lobby was very clean every morning. The breakfast was good enough. The rooms were clean and accommodating.

Took us awhile to find where this hotel was tucked away, it is right in a shopping plaza by a Home Depot. It was a quick 7 minute drive to downtown (uber only cost us $6). Breakfast was quiet enjoyable that day. The room was clean and quiet. Free parking and our car was secure. I would recommend this place for a cheap stay in Portsmouth with free parking, easy and cheap access to downtown.

We were planning a last minute weekend to see some baseball and enjoy the beach. We found this hotel, because it was central to what we were doing and needed a dog friendly hotel. What a gem! The staff is so friendly. The hotel was clean, welcoming, and they had special little extras like cookies in the afternoon. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Very nice hotel. They have a happy hour every night and give out snacks and free soda or water. Coffee is always out and hot. Clean rooms and clean hotel. Very nice staff!

Fantastic team provided delightful service during the holidays for our family's trip to Portsmouth. Breakfast was substantial and tasty, rooms clean and comfortable, and our son and I enjoyed the pool.

Had a very pleasant stay here. I was only here ready for one night as I was driving up to Maine with friends. But I was so pleasantly surprised by everything there. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever been in. They also had a mini fridge with icebox AND a microwave in our room. These all came in clutch the next morning. Also. The had free tampons and pads in the first floor bathroom. I know that seems like the bare minimum, but it’s not. It’s the only place I’ve ever stayed in that had that.

Allergy Sufferers Beware: If you have dog or dust mite allergies reconsider staying at this hotel. As someone who travels the world I have had the opportunity to stay in thousands of hotels over the years, including other pet friendly hotels, however, this was my worse experience. Staff happily changed pillows to foam hypoallergenic; with only moderate relief. After the second night the manager graciously moved me to the top floor, were pets are less likely to stay - with additional improvement. In the end, the wet dog smell as a result of the many animals that stay there combined with high humidity to make this experience very poor. The highlights of this hotel are the friendly staff and the robust breakfasts.

We really enjoyed this hotel. The location worked for us as there were many shops and restaurants close by. The happy hour was a hit with our kids, free snacks and drinks. It’s just a small perk that makes the stay better. Highly recommend this location if you’re not staying downtown.
